OVERVIEW
MECC ALTE DER2 is a voltage regulator for coexisting alternators, designed for standalone working and calibration; the connectors to and from the power generator and to the supervision unit are located on the DER2 regulator.
DER2 includes a USB port for computer remote monitoring and control and the High Dynamic Response module.
The HDR allows a faster decrease of excitation current than traditional regulators and therefore a smaller over-voltage as a result of load decrease.
The management unit can be made up of a personal computer; it does not have the ability of controlling the system in real time, but allows programming and imaging of all active parameters of the DER2 through the embedded USB port
