DECS100-B15 - Basler

The Basler Electric DECS-100-B15 is a microprocessor based digital automatic voltage regulator. It can be used on almost any generator up to 5MW. It can put out 63Vdc and 7.0Adc continuous voltage and current and SENSE 100/120, 200/240, 400/480, 600Vac single or three phase.

The B15 in this regulator specifically provides VAR/PF controlling, voltage matching, and 5A CT secondary.

Basler DECS-100 Features and Capabilities:

• 4 control modes:

1. Automatic voltage regulation (AVR)
2. Manual or field current regulation (FCR)
3. Power factor (PF) regulation
4. Reactive power (var)

• Programmable settings for stability.
• Soft start and voltage buildup control, including an adjustable ramp for AVR control mode.
• Overexcitation limiting (OEL) in AVR, Var, and PF control modes.
• Underexcitation limiting (UEL) in AVR, Var, and PF control modes.
• Underfrequency regulation (volts/hertz).
• Three-phase generator voltage sensing/regulation in AVR mode.
• Single-phase generator voltage (rms) sensing/regulation in AVR mode.
• Single-phase bus voltage (rms) sensing and generator current sensing for metering and regulation purposes.
• Field current and field voltage sensing.
• Single analog input for proportional remote control of the setpoint.
• 5 contact sensing inputs for system interface.
• 1 common output relay for alarm indication and trip functions.
• 3 protection functions:

1. Field overvoltage
2. Generator overvoltage
3. Loss of sensing

• Generator paralleling with both reactive droop and reactive differential compensation.
• Rear RS-232 communication port for personal computer communication using BESTCOMS Windows® based software for fast, user-friendly, setup and control.
