Stamford RSK1101 Diodes included with the the RSK1101 Rectifier Service Kit, are responsible for providing power to the Alternator rotor so it can induce voltage to the main windings of a Stamford alternator.
The RSK1101 Stamford Rectifier Service Kit is composed of the following components:
- (3) Forward Diode Leads
- (3) Reverse Diode Leads
- (1) Varistor
A faulty diode may produce several failing conditions that will cause further damage to the alternator, including increased excitation which may damage the exciter rotor, or loss of voltage that will end up causing overload to the voltage regulator.
The RSK 1101 Stamford Rectifier Kit is designed to work with P0/P1 Stamford alternator frames and it comes directly from Stamford in the UK.
